Bio

Now that I’ve been posting for a while, I should clue you in on who I am.  As you may have guessed I’m a Foreign Service Officer (diplomat), serving in Manama, Bahrain.  My wife, also an FSO, is the real brains behind our family, but I like to pretend I have something interesting to say.  Before I was an FSO, I worked in about every job you can imagine.  I was in a number of food service jobs, owned a landscaping company, was a professional tour guide, was a photographer’s assistant in L.A. (might have acted once or twice), worked in medical billing in Florida, worked in my father’s deli, was a student worker at LSU’s Rec Center, a student worker at the State of Louisiana Archaeology Department, and even sold pecans from my yard on the side of the road as a youngster.  I guess you could say I’m a hustler, well, I was a hustler.  Now I am a happy family man, with a cat and a beautiful wife and a wonderful, big family back home in the U.S. of A.  I hope you enjoy my blog and thanks for reading!
